Project One: Our analysis of this downtown, upscale Seattle Mall found customers were dissuaded from reaching out to the consierge because very harsh lighting, over the consierge desk, made staff look unwelcoming. This HDR image of the concierge desk illustrates the harsh lighting configuration which conflicted with this Malls efforts to welcome customers during evening hours.
Project Two: Our analysis of this newly constructed hospital facility found that they met almost all advanced lighting requirements but had missed an opportunity to incorporate day lighting into their design AND they needed to incorporate ambient lighting into the patient room’s lighting configuration.
Project Three: Our lighting analysis of this museum setting found a beautiful glass wall needed to be lit-up or highlighted with different colors inorder to cast a more attractive ambiant light on the exterior and the interior.

Conservation Analysis & Education
In today’s tight economy, companies are looking for ways to reduce costs. Energy conservation is a natural. We can evaluate the energy savings potential of new construction or planned retrofits by:
- Conducting energy audits using eQuest software
- Supporting LEED implementation plans and analysis
- Conducting an analysis of HVAC system requirements and recommending new systems to ensure that installed HVAC systems are efficient and effective
Installing energy efficient systems is only as effective as your willingness to work with your employees so that they embrace the new tools associated with energy efficiency. Education is an important component of any conservation strategy. We will work with your facilities staff to ensure that new HVAC systems are understood, from an operating perspectives, and are properly managed and maintained:
- That’s called Commissioning
We will also work with your employees, so that they can take advantage of new energy efficient lighting and daylighting tools and strategies:
- That’s called providing employees with easily accessed online training tools
We can also convene energy management seminars using recognized experts and audience response systems to present energy management information to your employees and your customers, for that matter. It never hurts to spread the word!
